Day Timeline

A block-based daily timeline for tracking planned vs actual time without rigid schedules or productivity theatre.

Day Timeline is a small tool for looking at a day as a sequence of blocks rather than a rigid calendar.

The idea came from wanting something that sits between a to-do list and a full scheduling app. I wanted to compare what I intended to do with what I actually ended up doing, without forcing everything into exact start and end times or turning the process into its own chore.

From a product point of view, the goal is to keep the interaction lightweight and low-friction. From a technical point of view, it is a straightforward front-end project focused on making the UI clear, quick to use, and easy to adjust.

It is the sort of project I enjoy because it solves a very specific personal problem, but does it in a way that could still be useful to other people who want a looser form of planning.
